London-based artist Ula Taylor-Reilly (b. Glasgow 1995) grew up in Hampshire, and graduated from Goldsmiths University of London in 2019 with a BA in Fine Art. As well as printmaking and photography, speech and prose are central to her practice, which often deals with misogyny, in particular notions of internalisation, subjugation, and pathologisation. Fictionalisation of bodily, historical, or social realities is a central methodology of recalcitrance in Taylor-Reilly's practice, an actant deconstruction of patriarchal linguistic and bureaucratic structures.
